2004
A drinkable fresh, medium bodied dry wine with a pronounced
intensity of fresh lime and citrus fruit. enjoy chilled with
seafood, chicken or interesting salads. A Bronze medal winner
2004 Sheraton Courier Mail Wine Show. |
MONAL CREEK CHARDONNAY 2004
An unwooded Chardonnay which displays a fragrant nose of peach,
pineapple and melon and good levels of natural acid. |
WARATAH VERDELHO 2003
Dry wine showing plenty of style from the rich ripe fruit from
the Burnett Region. Enjoy chilled to 8-12 degrees with seafood,
chicken or interesting salads. |
MONAL CREEK ROSE 2004
A rose with light floral aromas on the nose, retaining crispness
on the palate with a subtle lingering after taste of strawberry.
Made as a crisp style and blended to retain lightness, this wine
is suitable for drinking chilled on any occasion. |
THREE MOON CREEK MERLOT
2001
A light bodied dry red, can be chilled. Will match a wide
variety of foods including casual meals, noodles, pancakes,
spicy and European flavoured. |
MONAL CREEK SHIRAZ 2003
This excellent, full bodied wine has ripe red and dark berry
flavours. Can be cellared up to 7 years. This wine received a
Silver Medal in the 2004 Sheraton/Courier Mail Wine show and
Three stars in Winestate 2004. |
MONAL CREEK MERLOT SHIRAZ
PETIT VERDOT
A medium bodied, firm tannin red wine from our best parcel of
the 2004 vintage. Drink with beef jerky, salamis and marinated
meats, roast beef, game dishes and rich red meat braises. Will
cellar well. |
MONAL CREEK ANNIE RED
This light bodied, low tannin fruity red wine is blended from
shiraz and merlot with two years spent in American oak barrels.
Soft, richly opulent in flavour with a balanced sweetness. Drink
with a wide range of food including curries and laksas, spicy
sausages and warm salads. |
MONAL CREEK ANNIE WHITE
A light bodied fruity style blended from verdelho, marsanne,
semillon and chardonnay grapes with a taste of mango, ginger and
citrus. A soft, richly opulent aftertaste and balanced
sweetness. Drink with a wide range of foods including tapas,
spicy meatbells, green curries and chicken satay. |

Waratah Vineyard is the first commercial vineyard in the Monto district.
The first vines were planted in 1998 and there are now 3.2ha of
Semillon, Verdelho, Marsanne, Viognier, Shiraz, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
Our cellar door sales outlet is located
15km from Monto on the Gladstone Road, just past the Waratah Hotel. Open
every day except Monday, 10am to 5pm and by appointment.
